Seaside Lounge Restaurant in Timmendorfer Strand

Regardless of whether it is a starter (pumpkin soup), main course (beef liver / Neptune platter) or dessert (Kaiserschmarrn [fresh] / apple strudel) - great cuisine! And a loving and caring service completes the picture - gladly again !!

The food was tasty and fresh. Service was friendly. However, we sat inside completely in the draft and it was unbearable without a jacket. The terrace door was then closed on request. But not the front door, which we sat across from. The fact that the room should be ventilated because of Corona is totally understandable to us and we also thought it was great that (almost) everyone was wearing a face mask. But we went through the freezing earlier and had to forego further drink orders.

Good, quiet location, food was very good and prepared or served with love. A bit more expensive, but if you like good food, this is good advice. Recommendation on our part.

We have eaten there several times in the last 3 weeks. The location is great with a view of the water. The food was always very tasty and the Kaiserschmarrn was a dream. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'm already looking forward to next year.

We were there two years ago and we really liked it. Change of tenant? The restaurant is dirty, the tables unclean and repulsed, there are leftovers in the grooves, the food is like in a better snack bar. Please take a look in the corners of the room and remove the cobwebs. The corona spacers made of Plexiglas were covered with leftover food. And they weren't fresh, which is a shame. The view and the terrace are of course still very nice. The staff is okay, but not overly trying. Let's see what kind of response to the recession comes this time. The answers to the last bad reviews were not really friendly. I work in service myself and know what is important for customers. The guests don't care if it was still clean yesterday, they want it to be clean today. Yes, dear tenant / owner / restaurant manager. Apparently no tenant change ..... Exactly this answer I was currently expecting. Perhaps you should take the trouble to consider why guests write a review at all. Guests who don't care what happens next with Seaside will just ignore them and go elsewhere. Bad reviews can provide food for thought to change, but can ... if they are not rejected and ridiculed every time. We were definitely sitting at a plexiglass spacer. And industrial doesn't mean unclean - maybe just think about it for a quiet hour.

Cafe and lounge with terrace right on the beach. Ambience si as it should be for a lounge, maybe a bit too many signs in English, force in British is maybe a bit too "overstyled" for Niendorf. Not very warm welcome, just like the service was not exactly courteous. Perhaps both of these are due to the fact that vacation time is just coming to an end and everyone is tired. Let's see and try again in autumn.

Delicious food & very nice service. The orders came quickly, fresh and warm. We had a small salad and the pizza bread with parmesan butter + labskaus + ravioli. Everything very tasty. I would eat the same again.

Incredibly unfriendly service, the waiter's arrogant demeanor seems to be paid for here. Training regarding communication with the guest is urgently needed. After a few minutes we lost the desire to order something to eat here and so we went to another restaurant on the beach.

The chefs understand their craft. The food is upscale. There is a very familiar and family atmosphere, which I very much appreciate. I can only recommend it and would love to come back.

A great restaurant in a prime location with a view from the water. Really great. The service was very polite and in a good mood, even when she was stressed. The selection of dishes is very diverse and there is something for every taste 👍 Our food was very good and we went home satisfied 😉. Main courses and desserts were TOP 👍

Hygiene measures are very important, staff is friendly ... dishes are delicious ... but small portions for the price ... tables were clean, but windows and floors not cleaned ...

The service was friendly and fit. The food was very different. The fish was really good (but also comparatively expensive, maybe because of Timmendorf ...), the noodles arrived lukewarm for the first time, and the bread - actually a pizza - had only seen the oven for a very short time, so that the bottom cooked had no tan. All in all, you can eat reasonably here, but you don't always have to go there.

We had a lovely evening with friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious and we like the sustainability values ​​that the restaurant implements. The fish comes straight from the village. A beautiful place on the water including sunset. Great, I recommend it with a clear conscience!

Super friendly and warm atmosphere, immediately felt like we were in the right place. In contrast to one or the other competitor, we also had a very secure feeling due to the professional implementation of the required corona measures. Our food was delicious and the service super attentive and friendly! For us one of the best places on the Bay of Lübeck, great sunset over the Baltic Sea included.

Really excellent food, ambience and service. New Year was really a lot to do. And yet Kaiserschmarren and Co. went very quickly. Thank you for your service, it was very nice. Our dog was also warmly welcomed! Worth a visit!

Not sure if we caught a bad night but we had quite a wait despite having a reservation. Food was mostly ok but not great. Negative was that when one of our group we specifically asked if the dish is lactose free the waiter confirmed that. However, all they did was to leave out the the sauce without saying anything, which made the dish rather dry.
